Job Purpose

Responsible for marketing solicitation of new corporate relationships for both Assets & Liabilities. Directly responsible for handling corporate borrowing portfolio growth, quality & profitability

Reports directly to: Team Leader

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor credit quality of portfolio for risk recognition & assigning proper risk rating for each relationship.
• Develop marketing plan to identify corporate relationships within the accepted industries. Solicit new corporate relationships. Ensure quality of portfolio is satisfactory.
• Directly responsible to manage corporate customers portfolio & other relationship manager portfolio. (Number of relationships and average size of the portfolio to be agreed with the Team Leader.)

• Be highly responsive to customer needs and ensure high level of satisfaction of Clients in portfolio.
• Ensure quality of portfolio is maintained, with no direct credit losses.
• Maximize profitability, achieve business growth and targeted market share as per objectives.
• Pro-act to changes in marketplace.
• Ensure all documentation is valid and complete in assigned portfolio.
• Provide competitive market information.
• Achieve consistent growth in profits and business ensuring quality assets, in a highly competitive environment.

Independence of Operation:

The incumbent is actively involved in credit discussions and is responsible for exercising delegated powers judiciously

Accountability / Decision Making:

The incumbent contributes to decisions related to credit / marketing issues of all relationships in the portfolio as well as marketing / soliciting new relationships; overseeing the employment issues of immediate reports. Authorization in excess of discretionary powers, if any, is to be referred to the immediate supervisor
