Senior Manager – Procurement, Inventory & Mail Services

Job Details

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Unrolling Analysis of Price Proposals and the Financial Reports of the Bank.
  2. Monitors business trends and product availability to pay the best price without sacrificing quality or delivery times.
  3. Nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for the Bank.
  4. Identifies and researches potential new suppliers.
  5. Research new products and services to meet bank’s goals.
  6. Assesses total costs of Bank purchases.
  7. Develops and implements strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services.
  8. Study and Research the possibility of E-procurement integration.
  9. Build long-term relationships with all relevant stakeholders, such as local government, media people, politicians, etc.
  10. Develop and implement PR policies and procedures.
  11. Follow up and Ensure day to day PR requirements to be completed
  12. Measure and provide reports on each PR’s officer.
  13. All the above accountabilities included but not limited to additional/new task assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications:

  1. Professional qualification or equivalent
  2. Diploma/ Bachelors’ degree

Experience:

  1. 10 – 15 years’ experience in a procurement function involved in high risk, high value, complex works, services and supplies covering a range of commodities
  2. Experience in contract/purchase order management and administration.
  3. commercial experience
  4. Proven experience in using office support systems
