Position Summary:

The incumbent would be responsible for identification, analysis, implementation, monitoring and reporting of Anti Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing requirements of UAE Central Bank.

Key Accountabilities:

Annual review of the AML policy and procedures of the bank, to cope with changes in the regulations and best practices.

Identification, analysis and implementation of risk based Know Your Customer (KYC) and Due Diligence Standards requirements as per Central Bank and FATF Standards including approving KYC forms, documentation requirements, document certification standards. This is for all the customer categories of the bank including retail, SME and Corporate Standards.

Identification and guidance on Know Your Transaction standards for cash transactions, SWIFT wire transfers, manager’s cheques, clearing transactions. Advising on internal suspicious cases.

Coordinate with the Head of Compliance & Permanent Control in the event of employees filing internal suspicious transaction reports.

Education: Bachelor or equivalent with background in Finance / Accounting

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Banking Operations and Anti money laundering area.
