Job Details

Qualification –

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or in any other subject or equivalent is required
  • Master’s degree in accounting/ finance /economics or in any other subject is preferred

Skills & Competencies –

  • Market Knowledge, Analytical skills, Ability to present and pitch proposals before clients and committees. Able to assess risk through analyzing financial reports. Analytical skills

Core Responsibilities –

The role holder is responsible for supporting the Head of Corporate Coverage for acquiring, developing, and maintaining a portfolio of customers who require the whole range of Bank’s products and services’ including credit facilities, depository accounts, cash management products and other services. The role holder is also responsible to assist in data gathering regarding market and competition and provide analytical reports.

  • Understand customer’s requirements and provide banking solutions to each customer based on their needs.
  • Assist Head of Corporate Coverage – NE in meeting the financial targets of the year under the overall Coverage Budget.
  • Adopt active and proactive approach to New to Bank potential customers.
  • Develop account plans in a consistent and timely manner to swiftly follow up on identified business opportunities. A log of call reports to be created with detailed outcome from calls.
  • Attend regular meetings with clients and maintain ongoing communication to discuss their financial needs, financial difficulties and take proactive actions. Manage asset portfolio by applying the principle of “first line of defense”.
  • Suggest new/ existing products and services to customers to maximize portfolio revenues and to ensure that they are aware of all products, services relevant to customers need.
  • Ensure all regulatory, audit and compliance issues are in place and all the internal controls are to maintain highest standards of operational efficiency.
  • Conduct credit facilities annual periodic reviews and follow up with analysts (if required) to finalize reviews of accounts in their portfolios.
  • Identify early warning signs/troubled account and escalate/discuss with Head of Corporate Coverage at the earliest on regular basis.
  • Ensure reporting on Watch list/Past due obligations (PDOs) and Expired Credit Applications are done accurately by the Middle Office – UAE Team monthly
