Assistant Manager – GL Control

Job Details

JOB PURPOSE:

To monitor the Trial Balance of the Bank and identifying and resolving potential exposures in the books of account and implementing the GL management and reconciliation controls for both the Bank and its subsidiaries.

  • Monitoring and identifying the differences between Core Banking and other Surround Systems with EGL and resolving the same with help from IT, Operations and other related teams.
  • Review identify and resolve the identified issues in Failover, Level 2 and Level 3 reports
  • Identify the CAL+CPL differences and drive them to resolution with help from IT and other relevant teams
  • Monitoring and rectification of daily Trail Balance differences in association with branches, operations and IT.
  • Monitoring and rectification of Differences in Real, DE, Interbranch, intersystem bridge, GL vs Sub GL and other Suspense accounts in coordination with branches, operations and IT
  • Review and monitoring of reconciliations for all Assets & Liabilities GLs accounts along with managing the
  • department wise ownership of GLs.
  • Ensure compliance with the approved policies, procedures, SLAs and regulatory requirements to maintain quality standards and ensure risk mitigation.

Education :  

Minimum bachelor’s degree and professional qualification i.e. ACA, ACCA

Work Experience :   

Minimum 6-8 years of experience in in banking sector.
