Assistant Manager – BCM and ORM

JOB PURPOSE:

To support the Manager-OR in development, implementation, and maintenance of business continuity plans and operational risk management processes to safeguard the organization’s assets, ensure compliance, and mitigate risks that could disrupt business operations.

Business Continuity Planning:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the business continuity plan (BCP) to ensure it is effective and up to date.
  • Conduct regular business impact analyses (BIA) to identify critical business functions and their dependencies.
  • Coordinate and facilitate business continuity exercises, such as tabletop exercises and simulations, to test the effectiveness of the plans.

Operational Risk Management:

  • Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks within the organization and support the development of risk mitigation strategies.
  • Responsible for taking lead role in development and maintenance of ORM framework
  • Completing and performing quality assurance testing for RCSA, establishing KRIs for business units
  • Reporting and monitoring KRIs for risk breaches, reporting and maintaining operational loss databases
  • Analysis of incident reports and tracking remediation plans till completion.
  • Assist in the implementation of risk management frameworks and tools.
  • Prepare risk reports for management and the board, summarizing risk profiles and mitigation efforts.
Education: ‘

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CBCP, MBCI, CISM, CORP) is preferred.

Experience:

6-8 years of experience in business continuity planning, operational risk management, or a related field. Experience in a financial services or regulated
