Job Summary:

The Senior Trade Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the bank’s trade finance operations, ensuring efficient processing of all trade-related transactions in compliance with international and local regulatory standards. This role ensures accuracy, operational excellence, and client satisfaction while leading a team of trade operations professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transaction Processing & Compliance: Oversee the processing of trade finance transactions, including letters of credit, guarantees, and bills of collection, ensuring adherence to International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) rules and Qatar Central Bank (QCB) regulations.

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of trade finance products including Letters of Credit (LC), Bills for Collection, Bank Guarantees, and Standby LCs.

  • Ensure all transactions comply with ICC rules (UCP 600, URDG 758, ISBP, etc.) and Qatar Central Bank (QCB) regulations.

 

Educational Background:

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is typically required.

Professional Experience:

At least 9 years of experience in trade operations or trade finance, with a proven track record in managing complex transactions and leading teams.

Regulatory Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of ICC rules (e.g., UCP 600, URDG 758), QCB guidelines, and international trade regulations
