Head of Operations

Job Details

Job Purpose

Primary day-to-day accountability for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all Operations activities.

Work closely with the CEO and the senior leadership in Management Committee (MANCO) to implement strategies and management decisions across the Bank.

Assist in formulating the Bank’s future direction and support tactical initiatives.

Working on Optimizing and bringing efficiency to the Bank back end Operation processes and procedures.

Plan, organize, supervise, and control the department’s daily functions in compliance with the bank’s policies and procedures.

Safeguard the bank’s assets and interests to provide superior services at all times.

Demonstrate, creative thinking, and the ability to try new processes while providing knowledge and direction for the subordinates.

Display bank values of ‘Efficiency, Excellence, and Experience’

Timely reporting to concerned parties on all operational risk, fraud, AML, and related issues.

Risk Management obligation is the systematic application of management policies, procedures, and practices to the tasks of identifying, analyzing, evaluating, treating, and monitoring risk. This helps to mitigate risks to acceptable levels of management”.

Experience:

10 years of relevant experience in managing and controlling all Operations activities.

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in  IT/ Commerce / Finance / Business background.

Master’s Degree

Job Specific Skills:

Full knowledge of Operations and understanding of Information Technology and Project Management in the banking sector
