Our client, an  industry recognized market leader in the region for digital transformation, cloud and cyber security  is looking to hire a  Head of Cloud – Sales for their Corporate  Office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own the Business Unit, P&L of the Cloud Product including; market and competitor analysis, product road-map, pricing & launch strategies, financial projections and recommendations and actions for improvement
  • Lead, Deliver and Evolve Cloud product strategy based on research, data and industry trends, steering the direction of the requirements for new products and services, product improvements, etc. Ensuring product strategy is market and not resource driven
  • Identify new business opportunities for SME Segment within the market (new product/service offerings, new channels to market, third party alliances, etc.) and develop business proposals for these opportunities
  • Consults with business leaders, IT business representatives and service customers to ensure an understanding of requirements and their alignment to future strategic direction of the business/functions. Elicits, documents and manages requirements to ensure that the cloud product meet business needs of existing and new customers
  • Collaborates with Architects from all domains to understand the impact of current and future architecture on services and the service road-map
  • Responsible for developing the Cloud business model, identifying the requirements for products and services to enable cloud adoption, assisting the sales cycle with customer oriented solutions, and managing the execution of the solution through deployment, delivery and support phases
  • Monitor product performance periodically taking corrective action (e.g. pricing review, promotional program, analysis of sales) if product is under performing
  • Identify opportunities to generate increased sales volume, via focused marketing activity
  • Responsible for ongoing management of the Cloud service provider partnerships necessary for the development and implementation of successful delivery within cloud categories.
  • Develop long-term executive relationships with clients
  • Define and manage comprehensive go-to-market strategy including beta releases, positioning, communication of value proposition, and launch strategy
  • Prepare reports for Executive management
  • Support marketing activities by attending company events, conferences and other marketing events
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, support, operations, PR, marketing, and peers within the product team to drive growth and customer success
  • Delivers technical presentations to clients, peers, leadership team, sales executives
  • Presents solutions to all levels of management with minimal supervision and to client with support from the Sales/Account teams

Qualifications and Experience

Master’s Degree in Information technology (or) Business Administration (or) related field

Minimum 12 years’ experience in IT with exposure to cloud product sales

Job Skills:

  • Industry experience in Service Provider offering services to SME Segment
  • Successful experience of developing and executing Strategy (Vision, Mission Objectives, Operating Models, Road maps)
  • Thought Leader on Cloud Technologies
  • Deep Industry and UAE/GCC market experience
  • Deep client understanding, design thinking and product strategy
  • Ability to work at fast paced delivery cycle and deal with rapid change
  • Ability to author and publish technology articles
  • Knowledge of product domain, relevant technologies and the development processes to develop an overall systems view of the client environment
